The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Haj Pilgrims Housing Committee in Makkah has granted licenses to 166 buildings to house pilgrims for the pilgrimage 1445 AH/ 2024.According to the committee, the licensed buildings had a total of 26,710 rooms capable of accommodating 111,697 pilgrims.
It will continue receiving applications for licensing more buildings until next month as part of early preparations for the Haj pilgrimage. The number of licensed buildings for pilgrims in Makkah is expected to rise 5,000.
