The London-bound flight had 169 Indian, 53 British, 7 Portuguese, and 1 Canadian nationals on board, the source said. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner had a total of 242 people on board.
Authorities have not yet released an official list of victims or survivors. Emergency operations are ongoing at the crash site, and multiple agencies are coordinating rescue and recovery efforts.
